For those of us who are facing a life without children of our own, this blogspot is for us. It's a hard thing to start sharing, and it's a hard thing to go public with. But I'm willing to take the first step. I'd like to organise a hui in 2011 so we can all get together and have a great weekend. This is the first step towards that. I'm already connected with three others, two in Wellington, one in Auckland. They are a precious group and hugely important to finding the 'happy happy joy joy' in my life! I'll hear from you when you're ready. By the way, the worse news for us is to find out is that someone is pregnant, or is trying IVF again. We're over the other side of that, so please, this is for women who are dealing with accepting that the shape of their future is going to be different than they'd planned. Arohanui to us all.

HeY Janie I would love to catch up with other people that our in our situation, it just so nice to connect with others that "get it" I have friends even ones that have had kids through IVF they get some of it but not what we are faced with now and will continue to be faced with for the rest of our lives. I agree the hardest part is hearing guess what Im pregnant! the tears come and are hard to stop it goes right through my heart and soul. All those loss embryos, chances etc gone forever. Yet everyone else seems to get the life they want...doesnt seem fair. So we struggle on and hope on day I can look back and go ok thats why I wasnt suppose to be a mum or sometime like that! Anyhoo I would love to help out and organise a get together. Bet Ill get that friken hard call again soon from my sister saying they are due for number two that will set me right off again for another few mths to stir my IVF pot up again! great.
